<p>A Columbus native, Byron Henry attended the Ohio State University for both his undergraduate education and graduate dental school training.  He then went on to further his education at the Indiana University Medical Center, where he completed a four year surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.  After his postgraduate education, he and his family returned home to Columbus where he continues to maintain a private practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery.<br />
Dr. Henry has been traveling overseas since 1996 on humanitarian missions.  Over the last decade, the majority of his overseas surgical work has been involved with the cleft lip and palate patient, something very near and dear to him.  Since the initial encounter with cleft children in his surgical residency, Dr. Henry felt he had a “natural attraction” to these children.  He knew that he wanted to help cleft children in impoverished countries to lead richer, more fulfilling and better lives.<br />
 In September of 2008, Dr. Henry co-founded along with his wife, Stacy, a non-profit humanitarian organization called the Free to Smile Foundation. The Free to Smile Foundation provides free cleft lip and palate and dental surgery to the underprivileged and impoverished children and adolescents throughout the world.   Free to Smile Foundation touches the lives of children in Asia, South America and Africa.</p>

If there’s one thing I hope to accomplish in my career, it’s helping all of my young patients learn to love visiting the dentist. There’s absolutely no reason a dental appointment should be intimidating. When children realize that seeing the dentist can be relaxing and enjoyable, they pay closer attention to their teeth and gums between visits. It’s my job to help children learn and understand the real benefits of excellent oral health.<br />
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy staying active with my wife and son. We appreciate living so close to St. Louis and exploring all the city has to offer. We are avid Cardinals fans and cheer on the team at every possible chance! The top of my list of favorite things includes: everything having to do with Marvel Universe, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and seeing my patients and their families around town.</p>

<p>Marissa Nicholson has been in dentistry for over 25 years. Utilizing her clinical knowledge and leadership skills, she earned a position as a regional trainer and eventually a regional manager for a large DSO.<br />
This naturally led her to being a dental consultant for general and specialty practices all over the country. In her career Marissa has identified many “embezzlement specialists.” This has led her to create a training series for owners to help safeguard what they have worked so hard to build and create clarity around the blindspot that is the admin department.<br />
She has worked with many dentists, specialists, and teams both corporate and private over the years. Having done so, Marissa found that her clients truly needed help systemizing their practices; which led to the creation of The Dental Practice Management Agency. She feels truly blessed to find her passion for managing, and mentoring in a field that she loves.</p>

<p>Dr. Mark E. Doherty is the CEO of Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services (CMOHS), co-founder and CEO of D4 Practice Solutions, and partner at Southcoast Endodontics.  CMOHS is a portable dental practice founded in 1979 by Dr. Doherty’s father, Dr. Mark J. Doherty. CMOHS provides comprehensive dentistry in over 300 locations throughout the state of Massachusetts to populations who face barriers to accessing dental care. As a dynamic dental specialist overseeing a multi-site private practice and extensive experience in the provision of restorative and routine dental care to underserved populations, Dr. Doherty offers a multi-faceted level of expertise to our many clients.</p>
<p>Dr. Doherty has served as Dental Director for a Federally Qualified Health Center and a Public Health Dental Center, as well as an associate clinical instructor for the Post Graduate Endodontic Residents at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Doherty is past Chair for the Southeastern District Dental Society, a former Co-Chair for the Yankee Dental Congress, and served on the program core committee for the Yankee Dental Congress. Dr. Doherty also serves as an expert witness on dental-related matters.</p>
<p>Dr. Doherty is a 6th generation dentist and a 2003 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He completed his post-doctoral training at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy) and received his specialty degree in Endodontics in 2005.</p>

<p>Dr. Ro is a proud graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), College of Dentistry.  In addition to his DDS degree, he also obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola University with dual emphases in finance and marketing.  He later capitalized on the opportunity to utilize all three when he purchased his first practice in the south suburbs of Chicago in 2008, where (despite a historically difficult period in the country’s economy) he led the practice on an exponential growth path from three employees operating in 650 square feet of space into a 25+ network of multi-specialty dental group practices with almost 100 dentists and dental specialists. In 2019, Dr. Ro founded the dental consulting firm DSO Strategy, LLC, which was created to help entrepreneurial dentists strategize a growth plan for their dental group practices that would transform each not only into a thriving DSO, but also an investable platform for institutional capital.  He also served as a key advisor to multiple private-equity funds as well as banks.</p>
<p>Dr. Ro is perhaps most known for his last role as Head of Dentistry for Walmart.  Walmart Health is a set of revolutionary multi-modality healthcare centers that include primary medicine and dentistry.  Dr. Ro’s strategy and multiunit healthcare services experience have been paramount to Walmart in helping align and re-align the strategy and expansion of Walmart Health, now in 4 states. After the successful completion of building a scalable model and plan for Walmart Health, Dr. Ro recently stepped away to pursue other ventures, including consulting and advisory work for the healthcare industry at large through DSO Strategy. </p>

<p>Zane received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Management from Texas A&amp;M University. After beginning his career at Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Associate, he joined the CWA team in 2015.<br />
As a member of the 3to1 Foundation Board of Directors, Zane is active in helping people grow financially both in and out of the consult room. He educates the North Texas community on financial topics in its Accumulating Wealth Seminars and helps raise money to fund the scholarship program.<br />
